Guild of Boston Artists Online Exhibition

Erik Koeppel, Sunset at Otter Cliffs, Acadia, ME 9x14in. $2800

This painting is available at the Guild of Boston Artists online exhibition on Artsy. Here's a link to the exhibition:

You can reach the gallery to purchase the painting at the link. Shipping is available.

I began this painting outdoors on a visit to Acadia National Park years ago. Then it sat in my studio untouched for quite some time. A few months ago I found it amongst some other unfinished pieces, and it stood out to me as something I'd like to continue working on. It was originally painted on a gray day, but my vision shifted as I continued to work into a burst of sunset color. I now feel that it captures the feeling or my memories of this idyllic place.
