In American Art Review October Issue 2013

My painting on the top right.

In the article Frank Shapleigh from the Inside Out by Charles O. Vogel
My painting, The Trickey Barn Sited at the Jackson Library was a commission from the Jackson Historical Society's Museum of White Mountain Art, commemorating the movement of the barn in recent years to a new site where it has become the new Jackson Public Library. The painting will be included in the museum's upcoming exhibit Frank Shapleigh from the Inside Out, celebrating that artist's paintings of landscapes from barn and kitchen interiors. Contemporary artist, Stapleton Kearns also did a painting from the Trickey Barn's old site which will be in the exhibition. You can learn more from the Jackson Historical Society at this link.

Here's the painting:
Erik Koeppel "View from the Trickey Barn" 10 x 16 in. Oil on canvas

...and the beautiful 19th Cent. frame the Historical Society has used for it.
Special thanks to Warren Schomaker for the commission, and Charlie Vogel for the great article in American Art Review.

The exhibition will run along side the Historical Society's 11th Annual White Mountain Art Show and Sale, to which I'll contribute several paintings. More on that to follow.
