Painters in Jail!

Hudson River Fellows at Jail Falls in Grafton Notch.
Special thanks to Randy Bennett of the Bethel Historical Society, for guiding some of the Hudson River Fellows and I to the beautiful Jail Falls in Grafton Notch. This waterfall is one of the finest in the White Mountains, and is very much unknown by tourists today. In the 19th Century, it was highly celebrated for its Beauty and unique geological characteristics.

Here are some shots of the Hudson River Fellows working there:

Red Dots Abound At the Hudson River Fellowship Exhibition in Jackson, NH

We were thrilled with the outcome of the recent exhibition at the Jackson Historical Society of the artwork produced at the Hudson River Fellowship in Jackson, NH this summer. It was a full house and I would estimate ten or more works were sold. Thank you so much to the community of Jackson for your support! Learn more in this long article by the conway daily sun, (click and scroll down).

Special thanks to Warren and Leslie Schomaker, the Grand Central Academy, and The Institute of Classical Architecture & A Classical America for all the hard work of bringing this program to Jackson.

I'll post more soon on some of the beautiful places we visited in the White Mountains. Here are links to photos from the workshop taught by Lauren Sansaricq and myself that ran alongside the Fellowship:
